Nature and art collide in Writing the Land: Virginia, a poetry anthology that details the vast and exquisite beauty of Virginia through the collaboration of numerous environmental organizations and poets from around the Commonwealth.
To honor these natural and historic areas and the poetry that highlights them, we invite you to join us on August 1 for “Summer Stanzas: An Evening of Poetry with FOLAR & CRLC.” We will gather at Basic City Beer Co. in Richmond as poets Gwyn R.C. Moses and Joanna Lee (Richmond’s Poet Laureate) take us on a trip to some of our closest and most beautiful natural and historic areas through their poetry readings.
Registration is encouraged, though walk-ups are welcome.
