VOLUNTEER

THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!

FOLAR relies on volunteers for most of our programs and events – especially during our Stewardship Saturdays. Volunteers have the opportunity to get their hands dirty for river cleanups, trail maintenance, removing invasive species, conducting bi-annual trail counts, managing events, and more. We welcome groups of volunteers from corporate offices, Fort Gregg-Adams, and civic clubs regularly.

IMPORTANT: Over the next few months, FOLAR is transitioning to a new Volunteer Management System, so you might see some new interface and system processes. Ultimately, we hope that this will improve the volunteer experience and allow for more streamlined communications between FOLAR staff and volunteers. Please let us know if you have any feedback along the way!

FOLAR is now using Bloomerang Volunteer (InitLive). When you sign up for your first volunteer event, you will be asked to create a Bloomerang Volunteer account that you will need the information for in order to sign up for future events.
