Board of Directors

FOLAR’s Board of Directors includes appointed and at-large members from all six jurisdictions along the Lower Appomattox River, as well as representatives from key partners and agencies. These include Virginia State University, Crater Planning District Commission, and area businesses. The Board of Directors meets every two months, and meetings are open to the public. Bylaws and meeting minutes are available upon request.

The FOLAR Board meets on the third Wednesday of even months (February, April, June, August, October, and December) at 5:00PM.  The meetings are held either virtually, or at 235 N.
