COLONIAL HEIGHTS RIPARIAN BUFFER PROJECT
The Friends of the Lower Appomattox River, the City of Colonial Heights, the Virginia Department of Forestry, and James River Association have partnered to bring you this Riparian Buffer Project. Together, we’ve restored this plot of land from an invasive plant ridden area to a future home for edible fruit trees and other native plants. With special support and funding through the James River Buffer Program, we have been able to renew theis riparian land.
