Spring Clean-up Best Ever

FOLAR hosted more than 200 volunteers and picked up nearly 5,000 pounds of trash at eight sites along the Appomattox River for its Annual Spring River Clean-up. Great thanks to Ft. Lee soldiers and Perdue employees for their large group efforts and to the local kayakers who helped from on the River! Thanks to John Rooney with the Cockade City Camera Clup for some great photos. Let’s all be more careful to contain our trash along the River and EVERYWHERE. These folks would rather be fishing or boating instead of wading in mud with heavy trash bags.
