#GIVINGTUESDAYNOW

A GLOBAL DAY OF GIVING AND UNITY

We are seeing and feeling it everyday – our natural surroundings are key to our health and well-being, key to our recovery, and in fact key to our future human existence.

Locally, through focused efforts we are seeing a cleaner Appomattox River- our source of drinking (and hand washing) water. We have increased protected public greenspace and we are improving access to the outdoors by growing the Appomattox River Trail so that people of all ages and abilities can experience the direct benefit of their natural surroundings.

At this time, we have the opportunity to unite in learning, sharing, and generosity to help us move forward for each other and our future generations.

May 5th, is #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day dedicated to giving what you can to the organizations and causes you care about. We believe generosity has the power to unite and heal communities in good times and bad.

Join with friends and neighbors in support.
