ENTRY/REGISTRATION FEE FOR CANOES AND KAYAKS:
Pre-Registered:
$25.00 per person - 18 & over
$10.00 per person – Under 18 and Active Duty Military

Day of Event Registered:
$30.00 per person – 18 & over
$15.00 per person - Under 18 and Active Duty Military

The Race will be an 18 K (approximately 10 miles from Hopewell City Park (old Patrick Copeland site) to Petersburg (Pocahontas Island)

Entrants who plan to paddle the 10 miles should (Option #1)drop-off canoes and kayaks at the launch/registration site in Hopewell. At the finish a shuttle will return you and your kayak or canoe to Hopewell. (Option #2)You may want to leave a second vehicle at the Petersburg site (there’s plenty of parking) and proceed to Hopewell (for the start) with your canoe or kayak.

Lunch will be served and trophies will be presented at the finish in Petersburg. For those looking for more to do, the Hooray for Hopewell celebration will also be taking place in Downtown Hopewell.

For those not interested in paddling the entire route there is ample opportunity to paddle to several local spots along the river then return to the launch site. Upon completing the open paddle, paddlers should proceed to the finish line in Petersburg for lunch and the awards presentation.

Sat. Morning Continental Breakfast 7:00a.m. – 9:00a.m.

Saturday Lunch in Petersburg 12:00p.m. – 2:00p.m.
